Creating a Leadership Development Program

One of the failures of higher education and the corporate world occurs when people are promoted from within based on their body of non-leadership work. For example, perhaps the individual is raised up to lead a team based on their ability to organize information, knowledge of spreadsheets, or speediness of getting things done correctly. The good news is that building a leadership development program can be an exciting collaborative project with an impressive return on investment! Taking the time and effort to properly grow new leaders provides a boost in culture that includes trust, psychological safety, efficient communication styles, and high levels of self-awareness, all connecting the dots to higher employee retention.

Let's Team Build!

Building upon the personality and dynamics of your team, this engaging workshop taps into everyone's strengths with building exercises. It is an opportunity to safely (and bravely) learn about each other, embrace each other's wonderful differences, and generate team purpose statements that add seeds for ongoing growth. We encourage you to include another workshop to this one that best fits your needs.

Building Trust & Psychological Safety in the Workplace

During this engaging workshop, participants will discuss the components and benefits of trust and psychological safety in the workspace. We will assess what it will take in your area to begin building trust and safety.

Collaborative Communication & Feedback

Delivering and receiving feedback can be a daunting task; however, with the right intention, any message can safely be communicated and heard. During this engaging workshop, participants will gain a strong understanding of how communication in a collaborative setting begins with being empathetic to perspectives, learning to actively listen and using tools to be fully present.

Coaching with Awareness

Supervisors (and inspiring supervisors), here is a workshop that provides you with the skills to touch a heart before asking for a hand up. "Coaching with Awareness" is a 3-hour workshop on the basics of coaching and how to powerfully connect with your direct reports, aiding them in their professional and personal growth.

Building Mission & Vision Statements

For a team to coalesce and be empowered, it is imperative for all voices to be heard when building a unified vision and mission statement. This workshop brings the people in the teams together, building trust and psychological safety, towards developing a vision and mission statement that speaks to the uniqueness of the team.

Building Team Awareness with the DiSC

When building a team, it's important to identify individual styles, with the focus on communication and collaboration. This workshop includes how to flex one's style to increase connection and build team partnership. It takes only about 20 minutes to finish the DiSC assessment (which is required for this workshop); there is a purchase cost involved.

Overcoming the Five Dysfunctions of a Team

This workshop utilizes Patrick Lencioni's framework to identify what gets in the way of a cohesive team and how to embed particular components in creating high performing teams. This engaging and eye-opening workshop will include each team member taking the assessment and participate in team building exercises.

Leading with Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

Today's generation of team members prioritize purpose and value in the workplace. Leading with EQ is wonderful for departments who are keen on identifying tools and practices to gain self-awareness. Purpose and value become more evident through the experience of reflecting on the impact of triggers with the overall goal to increase EQ competency and enhance work/team dynamics.

Bravely Communicate with Conflict

Frequently, conflicts arise, placing a strain on dialogue. Individuals, seeking growth, strive to continually improve their communication skills, bringing high level of awareness to their intentions, and not getting bogged down when conflict enters the room. This strength in knowing oneself allows teams to powerfully connect. It is required to take the Intercultural Conflict Style (ICS) assessment which involves a nominal purchase cost and takes about 15 minutes finish.

CliftonStrengths Assessment & Coaching

Employees today want to work for organizations that offer new horizons and challenges. Gallup points out that the most effective way to do this is to develop and empower people to help them use their strengths. This half or full-day workshop includes taking an assessment, and five team and/or individual coaching sessions. It will provide people with insight in building relationships both inside and outside of work.
